Introducing Cherubs family magazine 💫
Last month I shared some of my chess articles from R.I.S.E. education magazine. Today I’m sharing another magazine. It’s the gorgeous Cherubs family magazine, a quarterly UK based magazine also available online.
The wonderful creator and editor Sevim Safer (see selfie below 📸) gives me the opportunity to write articles where I can promote a love of maths and games at home. Of course I have weaved chess and strategy games into Cherubs because they fall under the umbrella of problem solving.
Parents are the first teachers in a child’s life. When we work together so much can be achieved. Every article I write helps parents nurture a love of maths and problem solving at home.
This is a piece I wrote for the Cherubs Spring edition 2023 where I imagined chess to be like a Pick and Mix sweet bag!🍬🍭🍫 Zoom in and enjoy the read!

How can I get a copy of Cherubs?

New blog drop in 7 days!
I have a very interesting, Chess in education blog coming soon and it’s all about inclusive chess. It’s going to give you a real picture of what it’s like to teach chess to 30 children in a mainstream primary school.
Until then, make a coffee, download & enjoy Cherubs.
